A lack of essential B vitamins becomes apparent in many forms of health disorders, such as nervous disorders (bending back the head), increased irritability, uncoordinated movement or spasms. Abnormal skin changes and growth disorders can also indicate a lack of vitamin B.

Bird's have an increased need for vitamin B, for example, when animals are stressed or ill and also when animals have to be treated with antibiotics or sulfonamides.

NEKTON-Bio supports a smooth molting process and feather regeneration. NEKTON-Bio contains all essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals, trace elements and 200,000 µg biotin/kg. NEKTON-Bio gives birds a smooth and shiny plumage. The majority of plumage damage that occurs when keeping birds can be exclusively attributed to poor nutrition. Because the plumage consists of substance that is high in protein, a particularly rich and balanced protein diet for the bird is a prerequisite for forming an immaculate plumage. A daily diet must contain sufficient vitamins, minerals and trace elements for a functioning metabolism. Majority of animal losses that occur during the molting period is based on a lack of or unbalanced protein intake and/or an insufficient supply of vitamins and minerals. The unfavorable ratio of amino acids in most plant-based feed has been explicitly considered and balanced with regard to the composition of NEKTON-Bio.

No other vitamin compound should be administered whilst using NEKTON-Bio. NEKTON-Bio is soluble in cold water and can be administered easily via drinking water or soft feed.

NEKTON-MSA is a high-quality mineral blend supplemented with vitamin D3, major/trace elements and amino acids. NEKTON-MSA supports and powers the metabolism and bones, prevents rickets, activates mineral conversion and helps to compensate for the damage caused by calcium deficiency. 

NEKTON-MSA covers the increasing need for minerals in breeding/rearing, protects against malabsorption, increases defense against infection and prevents fragile eggs in birds. NEKTON-MSA supports good development of bone structures in young animals. It is especially important for your animals for preventing later diseases caused by a deficiency of vitamins and minerals. NEKTON-R contains all essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals, the colorant Canthaxanthin and trace elements in balanced proportions. NEKTON-R prevents feather colors from fading and positively influences the natural shine and brightness of the whole plumage. Due to the vitamin complex contained within, the bird is supported through the entire molting/rearing process and additionally supplied with all important nutrients.

The colorant used (lipochrome) is identical to the natural substance and is thus physiologically safe. It is also used in the food industry to color food products. Carotinoides are of vital importance for colored feathers.
