Vetafarm is an Australian owned and operated company focused on research, development, and the manufacture of health products - specifically in the field of exotic and unusual pets. Vetafarm currently employs over 40 highly specialised staff members and produces a diverse range of specifically designed products for a range of animals. If it’s too hard or too weird for other manufacturers, it is our speciality.
Vetafarm was started in the late 1980’s as a small rural practice by two Veterinarians who identified the need for information, services and products for unusual companion animals. Many veterinarians at the time were using dog and cat medications for unusual pets, most of which weren’t ideal for the applications in which they were used. There were no ‘off the shelf’ alternatives for these unusual companion animals, so Vetafarm created them.

Vetafarm Avi Care Disinfectant & Cleaner Concentrate 100 ml.
In stockCages, perches and bird toys should be cleaned and disinfected daily. Hand rearing equipment, preparation areas must be disinfected after each feeding using 1:100 dilution of avi safe. Wash, disinfect and rinse feeding equipment. Apply avi safe liberally to preparation areas and allow to dry naturally. Brooders, incubators and nest boxes require a 1:50 dilution. Remove any waste matter and spray liberally with avi safe - leave to dry naturally.

Vetafarm Aviclens
In stockAviclens, when used regularly, greatly reduces the time required to scrub water dishes. Aviclens should also be used when soaking or sprouting seed. Soaking seed greatly increases the bacterial, yeast and fungal content of the seed, this is potentially harmful. Bacterial diseases such as E.coli are commonly transferred by soaked/sprouted seeds. Aviclens prevents the multiplication of bacteria and yeast in the water supply. Clean safe water is critical to the long term health of the bird. By reducing the water borne organisms that attack the immune system, Aviclens takes up the fight against the "Grunge Syndrome". Improving the water quality of animals is a well recognised method of improving production (eggs or young) and reducing the death rate.
